Local dancers reaching for the stars with Dani Harmer, George Samson, Bobbi Davro and Ashleigh and Pudsey!

RISE Studios dancers Jemima Colin, Annabel Leach, Danielle Gordon, Olivia Walshe, Lucy Millard and Erin O’Brien were dancing alongside professional dancers and a celebrity cast! This took place at the Watford Colosseum on Tuesday 4th April. They will also be performing at the Beck Theatre in Hayes on Saturday 15th April.

Maisie Guy, Cara Bailey, Richenda Campbell, Bonnie Evans, Maddie Salkeld and Abigail Slater were also performing. They were dancing in the Easter Panto Tour, Robin Hood, in Broxbourne on Monday 3rd April and Dunstable on Wednesday 5th April.

We were selected from all the local dance schools to provide dancers for Enchanted Productions Easter Pantomimes.

We were all (local dance and performing arts schools) asked to submit video auditions of our students to the director at Enchanted Productions, and RISE Studios were chosen to provide the dancers for both shows. You can imagine our excitement. Such an honour to be picked! The girls were beside themselves. Each group of girls had two days of rehearsals to learn 5 numbers. They then spent a couple of hours here and there to polish them. It was quite an ask for the girls. Being an ex-professional dancer myself I can tell you that learning that amount of choreography so quickly is not easy! The girls acted like true professionals, and really held their own on stage alongside the professional dancers and celebrity cast. Words can’t describe how proud I am of them all!

This is our second year performing with Enchanted Productions. It is such a professional experience for our young dancers we hope to continue working with Enchanted for many years to come!
